The Waffenfabrik Hein N-Series Action is the core of our business and rifles.  Machined entirely from a solid piece of 4140 chrome-moly, the receiver is a single piece, non-cylindrical design modeled after the pre-64 Model 70 Winchester.  

After machining, the receiver and bolt are hardened to 45 Rockwell.  The N-series action also features a one piece trigger guard with release in bow and hinged straddle floor plate. All features and options are available as stand alone actions, or barreled actions, Right or Left Handed
( no premium for Left Handed ).  


Choice of four bridge designs, Round Bridge, Standard Double Square Bridge, Machined Double Square Bridge, Hein Custom Double Square Bridge (Machined and Hein Custom Double Square bridges come with integral dovetails for Quick Disconnect Rings which are custom fit and delivered with the purchase).

Most custom actions built today are a cylindrical receiver modeled after the Remington 700.  The non-cylindrical design used by Winchester and Mauser adds to the rigidity of the receiver, which improves accuracy and repeatability. 

The N-Series Action comes in 5 sizes to fit all calibers, from .17 REM including the Short and Super Short Magnums to big bore Dangerous Game Cartridges including 505 Gibbs and 500 Jeffery and the New 550 Magnum.

Our Actions are fully machined to aerospace tolerances.  There is no assembly line work here, all actions are hand fit and finished.  All surfaces are straight and true, cartridge feed rails are machined for specific cartridge, the bolt and receiver faces are squared.


 

 The actions are polished to 320 grit, and shipped "in the white".  If you or your gunsmith are not completely satisfied with the finish work* you can return the action or barreled action and we will correct it for you.
